It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the August 15, 2016 passing of the Barn Theatre's dear friend ED KRAJKOWSKI.
Ed was SUCH a gifted actor -- and was beloved by so many of us at the Barn. Ed's first show with us was in 1968 when he appeared on stage in "Way Down East". He went on to appear on stage in almost 20 other productions over the years, including as the Duke/Carrasco in "Man of La Mancha", Mr. Twimble in "How To Succeed In Business…", Henry Higgins in "My Fair Lady", Nathan Detroit in "Guys and Dolls" (at right, standing center with hat on heart), Fagin in "Oliver", Max Detweiler in "The Sound of Music" and Kodaly in "She Loves Me" (just to name a few).
Ed was a dedicated volunteer, member and friend of and to the Barn Theatre for YEARS. But more than all of those things, Ed was a much beloved husband, father and grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers and love go out to his wife Barbara, his children Jane and John, and his entire family.
Ed's Barn Theatre credits can be see here: http://www.barntheatre.org/person.asp?personid=1601
Our own Jane Krakowski had a great run, wowing audiences in She Loves Me on Broadway and in advance of her Tony nomination, she was the subject of a profile on CBS Sunday Morning; some of which was shot at The Barn.
